Good news for those who liked The Wheel of Time from Amazon Prime Video. The streaming announced the renewal of the fantasy series for its third season. The confirmation came during The Wheel of Time: Origins panel at San Diego Comic-Con last Thursday (21).
Series showrunner and executive producer Rafe Judkins welcomed the news. “I’m so excited that we’re doing a third season of The Wheel of Time. ‘The Shadow Rising‘ has always been my favorite book in the series, so being able to bring it to television and presenting the stories that made me fall in love with these books to a new audience is an honor, something I’ve been working on since I first proposed the series, years and years ago,” he said.
Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, also commented on the news. “We are very excited to delve deeper into the world of The Wheel of Tempo with Rafe Judkins and his team, who have done a wonderful job of honoring Robert Jordan’s vision and delivering an incredible visual experience to Prime Video members.”
